New Hyde Park, NY -- A new series of miniature helical couplings from Sterling Instrument (ISO 9001:2000+AS9100B Registered Manufacturer) features zero backlash, maintenance free, vibration free, smooth bearing loads, even at misaligned 3° angular, positions. These couplings, identified as the S54MHCM... Series are stocked in 30 different sizes ranging from 4 mm to 12 mm.

These 7075-T651 aluminum couplings range in O.D. from 19.1 mm to 31.8 mm and in length from 28 mm to 58 mm and have a maximum speed of 5000 rpm. They are extremely lightweight, ranging from approx. 22 grams to 60 grams.

They can be used in precision engineering applications and are especially able to accommodate tight or skewed connections.
